| To be honest, its all about intent. If United get in early and knock a goal or two in, Wigan will not be able to peg them back. Establishing an early lead should be the main consideration as the longer it goes on without a goal, the more heart and encouragement it will give Wigan and the more desperate we will get.
Discipline will be key as well, last thing we need is to be chasing the game and for someone to do something stupid (Nani-style).
Wigan got a draw against Chelsea after being behind because Chelsea failed to kill them off and tried to hang on. Plenty of this Wigan team are in the shop window and will be looking to make a name for themselves, so its up to the midfield to smother them and catch them on the break.
I fully believe that we will do it though, I think it will be 2-0 Sunday. |
