As for the Omsk deal...he said it was never about the money. He wanted respect and a 2- or 3-year deal, because he didn't want to go through free agency again.
By going to Omsk, he will be appreciated and loved the way he should be. In Washington he was told that he's a 3rd line player and a grinder. Then he went to New York, broke every Rangers scoring record, but was still bashed and ridiculed for not taking part in the shootouts, for instance. |
Jagr is the laziest, most overrated and selfish player I have ever seen. His only really great years were with Pittsburgh over 15 years ago. Don Cherry is an idiot sometimes but he was right on here, and breaking Ranger scoring records is not much of a feat.
