| My opinion is similar to stretty's. Before Sheringham joined the club I wasn't a fan of his. He played his role as 2nd striker very well but I felt he didn't score enough goals and I prefer more dynamic strikers.
Sheringham scored some very important goals for us, especially in the 1999 FA Cup and Champions League Finals, but he'll never be as much of a legend as Ole.
