If we can get out of the group stage I think it'd be excellent. We got kind of screwed in 06 against Ghana but we should've decimated the Czechs so we may have deserved it. It all depends on who we draw if it follows the same template we'll have:

Euro Team (top seed)
Euro Team (through the play-offs)
USA
African Team.

If we can get 3 off the Africans, (hopefully it'll be someone like Angola or Tunisia and not Nigeria or Cameroon) we should also be able to draw , if not beat the lower level Euro team if their a Poland type, since we've beaten them 3-0 on their soil during our domestic offseason. 6 points guarantees making it through and I think if we get 4 we should get through as the 2nd place team in our group. Anything can happen in the knockout stages of a football tournament as well.

All that being said, If we go into the 3rd game with a possibility of making it through I'd consider it a success. If we make the knockout stages I'll be ecstatic.
