| my problem with him doesnt stem from the drug accusations.....the fact is that after the first win at least he WAS clean simply by virtue of the fact he got tested so much more than anyone else and passed them all...including himm asking authorities to test him more than other athletes.
my problem is him concentrating solely on the tour de france year in year out, thats what many cycling fans have against him... he spends every year just building up to one race..no wonder he won so many. other gr8 champions like miguel indurain, greg le mond, bernard hinault competed in every other cycling tour throughout the year....i am sure with indurain if hed have spent every year just concentrating on the tour de france he would have beaten armstrongs record. |
