Thats the one thing I've always said about Keane, especially when talking about him potentially taking over as manager. His record in the transfer market is pretty dreadful.
I think the fact that he's just been given as much money to spend has taken its toll. Hes just seemed to throw money at clubs to sign a player, and he hasn't had to try to think as carefully or make good, efficient signings like he would have to do if he started lower down the leagues, or at a club with less money.
Hes made some good signings no doubt, like Kenwyne Jones, Craig Gordon, Richardson, Reid, Malbranque and Cisse. But the bad signings outnumber the good signings but a long way.
