| Rooney made all the difference when he came on. As SAF has been saying Rooney has been a breath of fresh air and you could see he was dying to get on the pitch. He made a great cameo getting involved straight away and scoring a great goal.
Carrick was better than his last few games which was nice to see.
The back 4 were imperious as usual, particularly Vidic and Rio. Nothing was getting past them today.
All in all the game was pretty poor but we did enough and won, which is the main thing.
13 wins on the trot against Villa. They must hate us :-P
19th of the season for Ronnie and 9th for Rooney.
