This is footage from last night's fight between John Murray and Lee Meager.

I went to college with John for a while and still see him every now and again.



John has been asking Amir Khan for a fight for years but Khan won't fight him,
he's too busy fighting butchers and teaching assistants. But on Thursday Khan
said he'd like to fight the winner of last nights fight. So it might finally be on

John is now the British lightweight Champion and his record now stands at:

Won 25 (KOs 13) | Lost 0 | Drew 0 | NC 0 | ND 0 | Tot 25

Murray said of Khan last April, "Khan wants to fight in Vegas, so why not
fight me on 5 May? I would mow him down inside the distance"

Khan unsurprisingly didn't want to know and chose to fight part time boxers
instead

Khan says he's the best fighter in Britain, when in truth, he isn't even the
best fighter in Greater Manchester.
