Its great he is back if he stays clean.
Im kind of with Hags on this one. From what a lot of his 'pals' and former
team mates have said, it looks like something seriously dodgy went on.
I mean, think about what he recovered from and then accomplished?
The sport is riddled with it sadly enough.

But if he wants to win Tour for the 8th time, he needs to be in a good team - he can't do it all alone.

my problem with him doesnt stem from the drug accusations.....the fact is that after the first win at least he WAS clean simply by virtue of the fact he got tested so much more than anyone else and passed them all...including himm asking authorities to test him more than other athletes.

my problem is him concentrating solely on the tour de france year in year out, thats what many cycling fans have against him... he spends every year just building up to one race..no wonder he won so many. other gr8 champions like miguel indurain, greg le mond, bernard hinault competed in every other cycling tour throughout the year....i am sure with indurain if hed have spent every year just concentrating on the tour de france he would have beaten armstrongs record.

To not been caught in drug tests were no guarantee that the athletes were clean. Since 2000 they are able to test EPO and for every year they catch up on the cheaters.
Today they found ways to keep an eye on the athletes even if theres a lot of hard work to do before one can say someone is clean based on just that he made the test.

And for all those who keep saying Lance Armstrong got tested but never got caught I can just say one thing. MARION JONES! She never failed a drug test but she's still been in jail for being a cheater and what follows that with lies and basically being a fraud.

So is Lance a the best ever...maybe...but his rep will always be overshadowed by the fact that his blood sample from 1999 was so full of EPO but at that time the EPO test were not legal to ban the cheaters.
The other 4 cyclists blood they also found EPO in have either later admit they used EPO or caught with illegal substances later on....but Lance sill claim all kinds of accusations against the lab to make him look like a victim and not a simple cheater.

You decide if Armstrong is what he say he is....
