Wimbledon 2009
Starts in less than 2 weeks.
Nadal is a doubt to make it, as he has a knee injury.
Federer gunning to overtake Sampras and win 15 Grand Slams.
The draw hasn't been made yet, but when it has I'll post it.
Federer is the obvious faviorite, especially with Nadal's problems. He was very unlucky last year as they played in near total darkness, which set him at a huge disadvantage because Nadal gets such awesome spins on the ball.
Although if Nadal is fit, it could be close as the Wimbledon surface is even slowe now. Its almost like like a clay court, hence the lack of serve + volleyers around these days.
Nadal obviously has pulled out of queens, while Federer may not play at Halle due to fatigue.
The great thing about Wimbledon is that there are a lot of upsets, aside from the top 4 there's also Roddick, Del Potro, Hewitt, Karlovic ect - all who will cause anyone serious problems.
---------------
Laura Robinson (the girl who won the junior Wimbledon title last year at 14) has been given a wild card entry into the main draw.
Venus Williams is looking for her 6th Wimbledon title.

Federer and Williams to win.
I hope Murray does well also.
I love a bit of Wimbledon.

Monfils isn't really a threat.
He played against a nobody (no offense to him) today and only won in a tight 3rd set tie break.
1/4 finals at best IMO.
Del Potro is pretty untested tbh, and I'm not sure if he'll be a success on grass. When attacking he will be amazing, especially with is power, but he isn't that mobile and doesn't like to 'move', which is really important on grass.
He could be amazing, could be crap. Either one of those extremes IMO.

I'd wait until after the first round, just so you get a decent idea on how good he is...

Both Federer and Nadal have pulled out of there warm up tournaments (Halle and Queen's respectively).
Federer is 'exhausted' while Nadal is injured.

But he is a decent outside bet.

Djokovic had lost it hes no longer good enough to reach the finals of Wimbledon
Scratch ass money will win it for sure unless he gets beaten by a mediocre player again or never recovers again
Murray can reach the final as long he don't face the top 2 before it
Fereder should and could win all hopes that scratch ass monkey gets injured again

He's adapting his game accordingly though. He knows he can't get in the basline rallies with Nadal, Murray and Djokovic anymore so he's brought drop shots into his game.
Saying that, in the last 2 years he's still been in 5 Grand Slam finals, winning 2 of them (losing 3 to Nadal).
Now he's won the French its very possible he could win 3 in a year for the 4th time in his career.
