Finland won the Bronze Final 4-0. Goalie Niklas Bäckström got a shutout and its a great way for the Finns to end the tournament in style. Sweden couldnt really threathen Bäckström today. When we did create chance Bäckström saved with skill and luck. Ok, we're dissapointed but should be pleased with the way our 'tipped to lose'-squad did a brilliant game against Russia, Czechsx2 and favourits Canada in the semi.

Sunday will be final day. Russia or Canada?

Yes, that's naked truth. And many players didn't want to play under his wings.

The next coach should/would/might/will be Vladimir Ruzicka, which is great news for us - he has no problems with older players (actually he was our appreciated captain in Nagano 98), has winning mentality and has already won Championship as a coach in Vienna 2005.

The six members of the All-Star Team are:

Goaltender: Vladislav Tretiak (Russia)
First Defenceman: Vyacheslav Fetisov (Russia)

Hm..not a bad team but are they really the best ever?

1. O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot-love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North, strong and free,
And stand on guard, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.

Refrain:

O Canada, glorious and free!
We stand on guard, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

2. O Canada! Where pines and maples grow,
Great prairies spread and lordly rivers flow,
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western Sea,
Thou land of hope for all who toil!
Thou True North, strong and free!

3. O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies
May stalwart sons and gentle maidens rise,
To keep thee steadfast through the years
From East to Western Sea,
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North, strong and free!

Canadian monkey predicted final Canada-Russia after quarterfinals. And NOW she/he predicted Russians to win the tournament.
So I'm at ease now..
