We had a list recently posted here in which we had the top 5 players currently based in europe with potential to be huge stars in the future if not already but i wondered if anyone knew who the next big things in South american football were?

SA footballers generally tend to be amazing technically so i just wondered!

lulinha amazing midfielder, alex silva very solid centre back ithink hes the brother of the luisao at benfica hes already pre signed for mila so in technicality hes not available, thiago silva very classy centre back,as usual kerlon not suitable for the english game but still a phenom and last but not least diego buananotte but thats my personal opinion anogher to watch would be maximiliano moralez had a stint in russia didnt really work for he but be sure u'll here but this boy very soon

lulinha ( apparently the next 'kaka' ) fabio da silva the boy who we have signed he plays left wing back ment to be very good and could be a top class player in the future, aguero will be a top player in a couple of seasons maybe less ... i cant think of any more atm

well pato of ac milan is meant to be the closest thing to fat ronny apparently, i've only seen him a few times looks a reasonable talent, and i'd agree brazilian ronaldo was my favourite player at one point sad to see him in a bad way at the moment :(

yeah pato must be a huge talent to be playing for milan at 18...i mean usually you have to be what?...30 years old to get a debut?lol...you'd still be relatively young in that team!lol...

Its amazing how many players from SA get taken by european clubs at such a young age, must be crazy amounts of talent out there

Renato Augusto who plays for Flamengo is apparently a promising player. He plays attacking midfield, hint hint. :) Incidentally I'm NOT talking about the Renato who plays for Sevilla.

Sergio Agüero in Atletico Madrid. He's 20 later this summer and already been playing for Argentina.

Lulinha, Aguero, Anderson (you might have heard of him :P), Pato, dos Santos (Mexican, counts in my book)

I'm sure there's a good 20-30 more but I'm screwed if I can predict if they will shine, these ones will though.

Just for the record Man United have another 3 young Brazilians coming in soon, Possebon, Fabio and Rafael, keep an eye out.

Thanks for all the responses! I have heard of many of the ones mentioned however, such as the players based in spain...aguero is class, but i was just wondering about players who currently are playing in SA. Thanks anyways, it'll be interesting if the players you all mentioned may become stars in the future in england!!
