I thought this has gotta be done...

Im an amateur when it comes to sigs and i was wondering if you could help me out... Ive seen some real class sigs on here, sucks as futbols and keanos!... How do you make them? As u can tell by mig sig im not very good.. And what programs do u use? I use Photofiltre, which is quite simple... Do you know any other free programs that can make really good sigs?

Please post a tutorial if you can. Thanks :)

Keano! uses one called paint.net.

I've never used it but apparently it's quite good :)

paint.net is a great one to start off on.

Its free and very easy userface with great results.

All my sigs and pictures are made using it......

I'd download paint.net......check my thread on it

I'd render a background of some sort.

Possibly a boarder too, otherwise, its not too bad...

But the backgrounds are crucial to sigs! ;)

check out their forum on it, or else play with clouds/gradients/lines/twist/curves....

Their forum's very helpful, and I should also point out that the installation
of "plug-ins" is extremely beneficial! ;)

they're brilliant additions to it! Good luck....

Notice how I've blended a n=umber of tuts into my current sig, which I'm going to go and change now......:p

Off to make a new one!

I use CS3, it has some faults with it though so I might go back to CS2.
