Hello,

Well my TV is Sanyo HDTV and my Satelite is Directv.

The picture quality on the TV is bad/poor even though its HD. Do I need a HDMI cable to make it look better? if so what kind do I need?

Second - I want to buy a remote that has a "Freeze" button does anyone know where I can get them?

Third - My XboX 360 picture is poor too even with the HD compactible that came with it. What cable do I need to make it look sweet?

Capture Cards - I've heard about them but I don't know how they work does anyone know?

--- Thanks in Advance for the help. --

to get hd you need to connect via hdmi - you need to use the proper input on the tv and you have to tell output device to output in hd . i do not know anything about us systems but that is case in uk

Zuco what does the F stand for? What did you tell me last night about what you never do in posts. Was the intent there? I think so. Hypocrisy at its greatest!

I think HD televisions are not worth the money. I have a 28 inch Sony WEGA regular televison and the picture is outstanding, and I don't have to worry about what cable goes where or what type of digibox I have got. I have two of the modern games consoles and the picture is just about perfect, especially with the RGB scart that the television is equipped with.

hd tvs generally only look good with hd material . my cousin has a 50 incher and on itv its awful yet when watching sky sports hd 1 its stunning . i wish mine was that big though

What hypocrisy? Is RTFM swearing? Or is it an acronym?
Stuff like wtf, ffs and lmao are allowed on the forum, so
get off your soapbox and just abide by the rules. I could
have given you your first warning for swearing, but I didn't
did I? I just said stop it. Can't win with some people!

-Zuco- go to your dictionary, look up the word banter. Then learn how to do it.

I know exactly how to 'do it' Rich, but being
called a hypocrite is not my idea of banter.
More of an insult in my opinion.

Well it was not meant to be an insult. I thought i had a reputation on here for being light hearted, i don't insult people. Thought you would have known that by now. Just take what i say lightly from now on then.

It's impossible to see light-heartedness in text,
unless of course you include a smiley or a 'lol'.
I don't believe you anyway but never mind :)

I just realised i will not be making another debate about what is/is not a sport tomorrow. Being as i'm sure we'll have a mountain of other things to celebrate / moan about!

From dictionary.com...

Banter - an exchange of light, playful, teasing remarks

Sounds suspiciously like flirting to me :D

Why do I find myself having to explain the rules to an admin?

Check 51, abbreviations such as wtf, lmfao, ffs etc are fine.
