Hmmm.... perhaps you ought to move house or encourage other Mancunians to move to the maldives.
Also, not to crib and all, but you've added an unneeded h in your spelling of Liverpoo. :D

I was on soccergaming.tv forums and I was up against all kinds of fans and I was on my own, the moderators were acting like children, no one would back me up, just because I'm a geordie who supports Manchester United.
Atleast here, I'm with my own kind, my own fans talking about the club I love and adore.

The persistant questions I get here from people I live next to (Newcastle fans), why do you support Manchester United? Why don't you support your hometown team? Bla bla bla etc.
And they keep going on about how Newcastle have a better fanbase than Man United because the people who watch Newcastle play are locals, but Manchester United is a global club and has a global fanbase.
It's funny because I live across the river from Newcastle, in Gateshead and Gateshead are in the unibond league. So really, my hometown is Gateshead not Newcastle.
The way I see it, is that you can support whatever team you like, it's not a crime to support a team that does not play in the same town or city as you.

you would think it was a crime the way some people go on about it.
