Are Signatures getting too BIG?

I love signatures just like the next person, but it's starting to get a bit long to load a thread page, some members have up to 4 maybe more signatures and all you see is 1 line of comments and half a page of signatures, I think maybe there should be a limit of how many signatures a member should be showing.


What do you think?

mate i love sigs too i make them to enjoy and have fun
and when the internet became so slow i decided not to use a big sig
take a look at ma sig now :)

Abojodeh, I see wat u mean thats why i said something about it it takes a long time for me just to load 1 page, let alone sit here for a long time trying to go through the forum and read all the coments on the threads, thanks for your opinion at least i know i'm not the only one then!!!

Mate I Have A 256 Net and it takes 15 to open a thread it as so annoying

When you see sigs that are ridiculously long
let us know in a PM and we will cut them down.

We keep telling people about this ...

It is annoying too ...

It's exactly the same as when they 'quote' a
huge post and then add a one-line reply too.

No need for that either.

This way it is much easier to read the threads
without having to scroll through page after
page of sigs.

As an example ... the one I have right now
is even too big I feel !

(But it was for a rather special ocassion)

They should be kept to 'one banner' size ...
same as the size of the banners in the
competition we held.

I agree 100% they should be kept to a certain size, and 1 per member, Excluding special occasions for a certain amount of time.

No I don't have 3, I only have 1, the other 2 are text, but I only asked the about the signature, not the text though.

on yours and Abo's is WAY too big,.....

I agree with you about the sigs though. We generally try and limit them and
tell people if they are too big etc..

for pics in a sig, i would never make one larger than 400x150(not too big)
and i would never ever create an animated image for someone to use on this forum as i know how much people dont like them to big of a file size

Yeah the sigs are preety anoying, they should just be removed.

Simple...go to User CP, Edit Options and turn them off
like i have.....Problem solved. :D
