John Terry, I hate him. He called Tevez an Argie (expletive deleted) when Drogba got sent off. He is racist and he is scum. It couldn't of happened to a better man. I have lost all respect for him and thank the lord he did not score the winning goal.
He should get banned for what he said. Terry got what he deserved, I have no sympathy.

The use of the accusation "racist" is a term used by many as an excuse, not a reason. I challenge you to pm me with exactly what he said, I didn't see it.

I am so glad that John Terry missed the chance to make Chelsea Champions League winners.

It is now coming to the fore that after Didier Drogba had been shown the red card, "Honest" John Terry, the one his fans call "Mr Chelsea / Mr England", walked to Carlos Tevez and spat at him. He disguised this by using the sleeve of his jersey to pretend that he was cleaning his nose.

This is what I would call justice. The man, who wants to be England captain, spits on an opposing player and gets away with it, but later misses the penalty that would have made his team champions of Europe.

I think God (or any higher power of your choice) saw this and probably knew that this team of mercenaries did not deserve to be covered in glory. Instead they were covered in tears. Another bodily fluid. And in my opinion that was still better than they deserved.

There is no way that John Terry should even be considered for England's captaincy. I hope somebody makes Capello aware of this incident.

Check out this clip from 12 seconds onwards and notice that Carlos Teves clearly reaches for the back of his neck, after John Terry pretends to wipe his nose.

Edit: I've just watched the video again and if you focus on terry's face you see that his cheecks puff up and he then exhales quickly. Basically the same motion as one would go through when spitting. I'm just adding this in for those who doubt it.

I noticed this at the time but i thought he was just whispering to him some sort of insult. But to spit on Tevez is unforgivable and now any sypathy i felt was just evaporated completely. What an ungraceful unsporting man.

Hey Scott - how was that for a birthday present? :) Watching your team become champs of Europe for the third time, can't have been too bad eh?

Sorry I hadn't seen your thread.

I think you're absolutely right about what he is mouthing. I didn't want to accuse him of that, because I'm not a lip reader, but I think that's exactly what he says.

The one thing that Chelsea fans are right about is that John Terry REALLY embodies Chelsea Football Club. I'm so disgusted by his actions, I feel no sympathy for him at all.

I think missing the penalty when he could have won it for the Tsar at home soil but blew it is punishment enough for the spitting llama. Our salt wont do any difference for him. Circumstancial evidence seems to be there with Tevez instinctly wiping his neck after Terry 'leaned forward' holding his sleeve.

But one thing strange is the referee should not have missed it. I have watched the clips 5 times to see if the referee's view was blocked. Didn't seem so.

And why did Tevez keep mum then?

Maybe Chelsea players practice "stealth spitting' during training? :)

It's true that the video is not totally conclusive and i can't see any projectile coming out of John Terry's mouth, but from the way he leaned in and the way Tevez touches the back of his neck, I think Terry did it, but I think he didn't manage to fire a big load....

What is he leaning in for, to say something? and then he uses his sleeve so unconvincingly? I think Terry did spit on Tevez and I think it is disgusting.

And what is even worse is that it is being done by a player with such a wholesome image. It's sickening.

I've just watched the video again and if you focus on terry you see that he puffs his cheecks and exhales quickly. Why did he do that? Just wanted to huff n puff?

shortly after the 'terry spat at tevez' thread was made i emailed the sun and sky sports and it looks like we may have landed the sickening John Terry in hot water after all, you can kiss goodbye to the england armband now jonh how doya feel now mate haha ... take a look at this guys

CARLOS TEVEZ has revealed how he loved winding up Chelsea in the Champions League final.

The Manchester United striker was at the centre of the flare-up which saw Didier Drogba get sent off for slapping Nemanja Vidic.

Blues skipper John Terry could also be in hot water for allegedly spitting at the Argentinian.

And Tevez feels Chelsea’s players were still seething at losing out in the title race to their rivals.

He said: “There is bad blood with Chelsea and it was evident in the game. I like matches like this.

“I don’t get scared when games heat up. It’s quite the opposite.

“All season there was resentment with Chelsea. And we knew there was going to be more of it because we had won the Premiership.

“We knew they were going to react at some point because they wanted revenge.

"All we had to do was stay calm. At the end what was happening was I was encouraging my team-mates to keep up the pressure.

“They took it badly, but my intention was to push us on to keep on pressurising them.”

Did Chelsea captain John Terry spit at Carlos Tevez?
By Charlie Caroe Last Updated: 7:04pm BST 22/05/2008

Chelsea captain John Terry could find himself in trouble after footage from last night's Champions League final defeat in Moscow focuses on an alleged spitting incident involving Carlos Tevez.

The Luzhniki Stadium runners-up have fiercely denied that any spitting took place. But in televised footage of the game Terry, who was making his return to the Chelsea team following 10 days out with a dislocated elbow, was seen approaching the Manchester United forward, and wiping his nose on his own sleeve.

Tevez rubbed the back of his neck after the England international walked away, suggesting something else may have occurred.

While the evidence was inconclusive, the episode added more misery to a night that Terry will hope to forget as soon as possible.

As well as being the losing captain in the first all-English Champions League final, Terry also missed the chance to lift the trophy for his side in front of club owner Roman Abramovich.

After Cristiano Ronaldo's spotkick had been saved by Petr Cech in the penalty shoot-out, Terry had the opportunity to secure a first European Cup for the west London side, but he slipped and his penalty struck the upright to bring United back into the contest.

When Nicolas Anelka subsequently failed to convert his kick, Terry's tears were only too evident, and now he will be hoping to put the events in the Luzhniki Statdium behind him.

Ok, folks, things are moving!!

But let's wait patiently for an outcome first before we unleash our fury....

Mirror
David Mcdonnell 23/05/2008

Chelsea skipper John Terry faces a UEFA trial by video following claims that he spat at Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.

Terry was allegedly caught on camera spitting at Tevez in the extra-time clash between United and Chelsea players which led to the dismissal of Didier Drogba in Wednesday's Champions League Final.

Tv pictures appear to show Terry raise his arm and spit in the direction of the Argentinian - and UEFA last night confirmed that they are ready to launch an investigation into the episode.

Uefa spokesman William Gaillard said: "The procedure is that we must wait for the report from the referee and the UEFA delegates.

"If the referee says he saw the incident and that the player did not spit, then that will be the end of the matter.

"But if he says he did not see the incident, then we will go back to the video images. If you look at the cases in Euro 2004, when there seemed to be an epidemic of spitting, two players - Italy's Francesco Totti and Switzerland's Sebastien Frei - were both banned for three matches."

Terry vehemently denies he spat at Tevez, admitting there was some pushing and shoving, but insisting the United striker's claims were unfounded.

Terry's night in Moscow went from bad to worse when the Chelsea captain missed from the spot in the penalty shootout, denying his side victory.

Some players who are in distress (i.e. missing a penalty in a shootout) I feel bad for..........John Terry is not one of them. I found myself chuckling away seeing him cry (of which he did a lot of, and for far too long after the final whistle).
I'm honestly tired of hearing about the hero, the lionheart, the warrior....I'm sorry media guys, JT is not the all-white role model he is painted out to be.

After looking at the video, although I don't see the projectile :D , it looks to me like he 'spat' at Teveth.
I'd be surprised if any punishment is handed out.

JT is a disgusting pig and should be banned. The way he tried to disguise what he did makes the matter worse in my eyes but in the end justice was done:D

Tevez is walking away from him when it happens and clearly has to wipe it from his neck. Whats the betting though that because its JT and the fact that he plays for Chelsea, nothing at all will be done.
