Just a quick post to say that LA Galaxy went to the top of the Western Conference ( ) last night with a 3-1 over Kansas City.
David Beckham scored the 3rd with a 60 yard shot

That game didn't seem half-0bad to be honest. Great goal by Beckham, nicely taken.

what was that 3-3-2 thing about in the opening part of the video?
also, are LA Galaxy in the top league in america?

Don't know what the 3-3-2 was.
The Leagues in America are regional, as it would be impractical
to travel all the way across America for each away game. They
have a final tournament at the end of the season I think between
the winners of each regional League.
Not 100% sure to be honest, but wikipedia will help you out I'm sure ;)

I do get to see a few MLS games here and there. In my opinion becks has the best vision in the league. The game over here is a little better now than a few years ago, the style reminds me of more south american play fast passing and loads of running. I wish they had more width to their play, but that may come oneday?
One good thing is that the galaxy and chivas teams have a great rivalry going now,not to shabby.

it doesnt matter if a goalie is there or not, from 60 yards to hit the target after a lil run with the ball, its not like had forever to do it. He just is very naturally amazing at precision long ball passing. I think the lad deserves abit more credit than some of you are givin him for that finish. Top goal.

He'll never lose his ability to find the goal, nor his build up play as was present in that vid. Highlights werent that bad.

Fair play to Bex. Some decent passages of play in the game as well.

ahhhhhhhhh la Wimbledon!! Well taken goal, all he had to do was keep it straight.
That off the line ball from Kansas deserved a goal.

God any footballer should be able to score a goal like that. This is nothing special. Wimbledon was completely different.

trust me Richy (the 2nd)
Its not as easy as it looks.
You yourself could have 10 attempts at that and maybe just score 1 or 2 max..

needs power, and placement... still not rocket science to put it in the net...even alonso could do it

Well thats a bit unfair surely?
Ok, it was strange seeing him in the Arsenal clobber, but to get into the
English team he needed to train and train hard and since he had a place in
London, it made sense to train with them.
I wouldn't say Fergie would have allowed him train at United :p

Good goal what an accurate shot from 60 yards. There was no goaly which helped alot. But overall good goal.

3-3-2 is the form going into the game, 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. It would be 3-2-3 over here but they put the defeats second over there because in most of their sports there are no draws.
Galaxy were 4th last i saw which is an improvement from hovering above the bottom which is how they spent last season. Only early yet though...

oh dear, still brilliant player, and just seems to get better and better.he had to train with someone though, don't you think. He's England through and through,so i don't suppose it bothered him which club he trained with,so long as he was fit..

true.but i think Becks is a great all rounder, and i think it still took a lot of skill to hit that goal.

God any footballer should be able to score a goal like that.
Lol. Have you seen the crossbar challenge on Soccer AM?
They are aiming for the crossbar from the halfway line but plenty of them don't get the ball anywhere near the goal.
Scoring from 60 yards is not easy, whether there is a goalkeeper or not.
