I think Derby need to spend. Liverpool need to break the bank for a top winger. If Lampard or Drogba leaves Chelsea must spend a lot. Arsenal need to buy a centre-half, goalkeeper, centre-mid, two wingers and maybe a striker. Tottenham need a keeper. Newcastle need a defense.

United only need to buy a centre-forward, we are certainly OK in every other position.

current strength (or weakness) of their squads. The big three
will certainly spend money and there will be departures from
each of them too.

If United Buy Fabiano then Saha should leave.
But If We Buy Alves Silvestre should go.
I think 30m are enough for Alves and Fabio.

L'Pool - need ... a back-up striker, two new wingers, two new full backs and another solid versatile middie/defender :p

Arsenal - They have a decent all round squad that has most of what you want but, Flamini has left and Hleb may as well they need to bolster in the midfielder part. They really need a couple of EXPERIENCED, yes wenger that means older than 25, players that can push them up.

Chelsea don't really need anything they just will spend about 80 million + on about 4 flops and 1 decent player ;)

I don't think we need to spend TOO big.

But Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool will need to if they want to keep up with us!

Especially if they have lots of players leave.
