Hi,

I am new to this forum, so apologies if this is the wrong place for this post. I have a ticket related predicament.

I have been trying to bring my Dad over from Dublin for a United match as part of his long-delayed Christmas present (I am living in Bradford now). I entered the draw for tickets for the United v Blackburn game on the 31st of March. Unfortunately I only got one ticket, instead of two. This ticket is useless to me, as I need to get two together, for this or another game.

I have been trying to sell it (for cost price only - no interest in being a tout), but when I put ads up on Ebay and Gumtree, they pulled the ads saying they are illegal. Is it illegal to sell on a ticket? It couldnt be! Any recommendations on how I can sell this ticket without travelling to Manchester on the day of the match?

Any advice appreciated.

Dave

didnt know it was illegal to sell your ticket.
Think you're doing the right thing now, post on the many united related forums and tell every one you've got a ticket for sale. can't you sell it back to united? probably not but u can give it a try

I also am living in Dublin and am travelling to that match -I have a mate that might be interested, want me to check?

If not, I can take it to manchester if anyone is interested in buying for the cost wanted from the buyer?

Sorry Dave, just read your mail again and see you live in bradford, not Dublin!!!

I'll still check my mate and we can arrange but with OT tickets like they are you shouldshift it no hassle

Tickets are always snapped up provided they are at face value, plus postage of course. If you pass on to me an email address for you I know someone who might be interested. I can't go, I am working.
