Ryan Giggs has been a wonderful payer for so long and great this season. But when he does decide to retire who should we sign as a replacement, because I don't think Park is good enough, although he is a good squad player. I thought maybe Lennon, and switch ronaldo to the left. Any thoughts ?

Richardson and Ronaldo play on both flanks, so I think we wouldn't need to go straight to the transfer market for a Giggs replacement. I think we need to look for a right sided defender, a Gary Neville replacement, we only have Wes Brown or Gabby Heinze who could play in that position.

I don't relly think Richardson is good enough to be a United first team regular, but I agree about needing a Neville replacement.

Richardson plays on the right? I've never seen that.
AFAIK, he always was a leftie - I do remember him playing as a LB in one particular match too, but he's always been a LW/LM.

I think that's a bit over the top, but he is pretty CRAP, and after just watching the England u21's vs Italy u21's he's convinced me that he will never make it into the United 1st team and should be sold immediatly.

good choice but i think we should buy robben instead of lennon and he might replace giggs
Simao im sure he would love to play along side Cristiano and has put good performances against us and Liverpool last season.

Simao is a good option but wasnt there rumours a few weeks back that chelsea and liverpool want him?
True but we are a bigger club than Liverpool, and he wants to play football not try and battle against Robben, he would also like a chance to play with Cristiano in regular first team football

Nani(Sporting Lisbon), Simao(Benfica) or Quaresma(Porto)

I dont think Giggs will be getting replaced yet, I am looking forward to seeing the brazilian twins, ans see if any of them is good enough to fill giggys boots when he's gone.
I hope Giggs surpasses bobbys appearance just 55 games behind him now, i thin it will be done.

Bit harsh on the lad really. Keiron's not a prolific person in the United side but I'm sure he's a good player and will do anything for the team. He even stated that he wants to cement a first team place in the United squad than going out on loan to WBA again. Give the lad some credit.
