It's a joke.

And stop advertising your website link in your sig, I've removed it twice already.

If you want to advertise contact RM and it will be $15 per month ;)

Am I the only person on this forum that is against this pay for my signature privilages thing, if the webmaster hasnt got a life and can't afford to pay for the website himself, then he should get a job instead of scrounging off others!

GM, I see a banning in your future. I'm not swearing, and I have my right of speech, so you can't ban me just because I'm opposing my opinion and my right to free speech on something mate.

I hope you don't get banned, I just see zuco or someone else doing it. I don't know what has happened to this forum over the last 6 months, but too many people are getting moderation powers and the power has gone straight to their head, I say something that I oppose and they don't like it, so rather than being mature about it, they take the easy route, banning people so that they can't express more opposition, it's ridiculus really. This is why people invented forums, so that people can express their opinions but it's clear that this forum doesn't like this.

Insulting the webmaster will get you nowhere.

He has a full time job anyway and is certainly not 'scrounging off others'.

Why do you think you should get to advertise for free?

The simple fact is, you're not the only forum on the internet that allows people to use signature privilages for free? Why should you be any special? Second of all, watching and going to see Manchester United and life is expensive enough, try paying for gas, electricity, water, food, tv license etc. etc.
I just feel it's silly charging, just so that people can be charged for using their signature privilage, anyway, I would of thought that linking to other sites would get you more web traffic, which I thought was a good thing?
I didn't mean to insult the webmaster, I just feel there's more real things in life that you should pay for other than to having to pay just to use a bit of text or image next your messages that's all.
And if I'm paying to have people like you photoshopping my head to other images and ridiculing me, well, that would be a waste of my money, wouldn't it?

Just what in the hell are you raving about?

Have I even mentioned banning you?

All I'm saying is you can't have your link in your sig Nothing else!

Read what I say and don't make up some crap to make you look like a victim.

RM states that members can't spam their links in their sigs so I enforce that rule.

Simple!

Second of all, watching and going to see Manchester United and life is expensive enough, try paying for gas, electricity, water, food, tv license etc. etc. I'll just let my parents pay thanks.
I just feel it's silly charging, just so that people can be charged for using their signature privilage, anyway, We don't charge people to use a sig, we charge if they want to advertise. I would of thought that linking to other sites would get you more web traffic, which I thought was a good thing? How does it help this site if people click to visit your site?

Answers in bold.

P.S. It's considered rude in this country to write in red.

Does RM enforce the rule to photoshop members heads to other pictures, oh is that just a way of showing how much of a professional and mature moderator you are? If you are really being professional about your forum duties then I wouldn't be expecting that off a person such as yourself, no matter how much of "a joke or laugh" it was meant to be?

If I'm not mistaken, you're not supposed to ridicule members as it says in the rules, as that rule is also applied to members. I think you're putting your position on the line, a true professional moderator...well done!

The thing is, most people can take a joke. Unfortunately it seems you cannot.
I didn't know about your lack of a sense of humour so I apologize profusely
and have removed the image.

I have a sense of humour mate, it's just you go on about how you have to obey RM and his rules and act all professional about it, when you can't act professional when you're a person of your position. I think mocking people just makes the situation worse? Doesn't it?

So when a person gets 'promoted' onto the staff team, they immediately
have to lose their sense of humour do they? Come off it.

If you want to carry on the discussion, do it via PM, I'm not going to
continue a silly argument with you in public.
