Portugal 2 - 0 Turkey

2-0. Portugal were by far the better team.
Ronaldo was average. Showed some great glimpses with his runs
and had a good free kick well saved. Took the captaincy when Nuno Gomes
went off for Nani.
Nani looked dangerous but nearly had his leg snapped off near the end.
Hope he is alright....

I have a fiver on Portugal for the tournament so it was a good start for them,
though Turkey looked very poor.
Young Kazim Kazim played well though. Only Englishmen playing this summer :D

I was expecting more goals in the game.


I thought that Moutinho had a fantastic game as did Pepe.
I found Ronaldo rather average, and other than his free kick that nicked the post, he didnt really have a big impact on the game (compared to his standards).
Nuno Gomes was unlucky today.

My heart fell when Nani got crunched on a horrible tackle.

kazim was a bad joke. he wanted the red card all the game and he was unluky not to get it.

Kazim was pretty good. He did do some stupid stuff but I think he was pretty good overall.
