go to control panel / regional and language options/languages/details/advanced tick turn off advanced text services then apply .
after ie7 installs xp loads CTFMON.EXE at start up this tip disables it permanantly .

if you visit foriegn language sites regularly and use translator regularly dont do it but otherwise it will speed things up a little

It looks like a good tip, but...who works with IE7 nowadays? Opera and Firefox are better and faster browsers..

Both Opera and Firefox are much slower for me as well.

Opera im my browser of choice ,1E7 is crap.For my home Windows P.C.
But at work i use a Ubuntu with firefox and it is super quick,the connection speeds are exactly the same,but it loads up much faster than Windows..

I love IE6 so I still use that and my internet is fast as...

Firefox wins by far. If it isn't much faster than IE7 for some people then some settings aren't right or plug-ins are missing. Never mind the fact that Firefox looks better and has much better search facilities built in.

but it dont work for me
cuz there will be no language bar
and i need russian/ukrainian language in my language bar
