At last......

He included a piece on Mugabe's rule in Zimbabwe in his speech at his birthday event tonight in London condemning Mugabe.

I don't have the article yet but saw it on BBC.

Pity nothing will be done, No Oil = Nobody with power cares

Let's just pray that Mugabe doesn't start a mass genocide.

The people of Zimbabwe really loves Mugabe. They ALL voted for him.;)

Seriously, this is horrible and a shame the so called civilized world just let him carry on.

It wasn't a free election, so everyone voted for Mugabe because they feared for their lives. People usually stood at the voting station and watched who people voted for. Not to mention it wasn't safe to walk around without the red ink blot on your finger, which was given only for voting for Mugabe.

Mandela took too long to speak out, and when he did he didn't do so as damningly as he should have. Oh well. I love Madiba. Met him through the President's Award program actually.

There is no oil in Zimbabwe, therefore no regime change.

It's a sad truth of the world we live in :(

I don't think anyone can say Nelson Mandela did it wrong to be honest. Hasn't he
done enough for countries in that area ? 27 years in jail for his cause !!

I'm disgusted that he actually had to say something at all !!

Typical move by the Russians too at the G8 ...

If you make a deal with them don't rely on it. Gordon Brown did and he looked a real
idiot !

Russia will drop anyone at the drop of a hat ! I would never, ever trust that
government.
