Suppose I should have started this thread a week ago but most people only watch the last few days anyway ;)

Federer beat Mario Ancic easily enough in straight sets today and will meet either Safin or Lopez in the semi final.

Nadal is currently one set up against Murray but we all know what Murray is capable of after that memorable comeback against Gasquet two days ago!!!!

Been watching it and any mug could call the 2 finals..
2 Williams and Federer vs Nadal.
I think Nadal will beat him this year cos he is a beast.
Some good games though, Murray vs Gasquet was great viewing.

Hope Federer goes onto win again, i don't like Nadal but he is very good.

I thought the papers were a bit harsh this morning. Yesterday he was a hero after his comeback against Gasquet and now it's 'Meek Murray Butchered'.

Regardless of Murray's performance against Nadal, the way he came back to beat Gasquet was nothing short of remarkable and he deserves all the praise he gets for it. Nadal was just in a different league and a step too far for Murray, this year! p.s. Nobody said he was going to beat Nadal after he recovered against Gasquet, he was still odds on to lose to Nadal and anyone who knows anything about tennis was saying that. ;)

Tennis is a great game. Granted, at times it can be boring, but it's a superb game and it's always a previlige to watch Federer, anytime.

id say they were tired.....Ivanovic was french champion so she was probably wrecked.
She also lost to Zheng Zi I think who was amazing and got to the semi's.
And Djokovic lost to Scheuttler I think who also made the semi's.
They were knocked out early, but by very good on form players.

Zheng Zi was indeed fantastic and only lost out on bringing Venus to a third set because of the power of Venus' serve. It truly is a power game and these smaller girls can't compete with the more powerful players. Her ground strokes were fantastic.

I'm going to be bold and say Federer to win in 4 sets. :)

An incredible final between Nadal and Federer yesterday. I thought Nadal had it in the bag and then Federer staged a remarkable comeback, saving 2 match points in the process. I couldn't call it either way going into the final set but I was pleased to see Nadal pull it off. Federer has been so dominant at Wimbledon over the last few years that it was getting too predictable. Not any more!
