Ive never been a fan on any names on the back of shirts,last time i had one was Saha and the game after i had it done he got injured and didnt play again for 50,000,000 minutes of football so i think i have a curse!

Yeah,not to sure about the number though? 14 is one of my lucky ones though! (only because it was part of 3 that won me a tenner the first time i did the lottery) :D

The article said they chose it as it was a free number in the squad list....its foolish to get the number at this stage.I know the deal isnt done,but if you do want berba on your shirt,you could get the name,then wait to see what number he is before gettin it printed.Its a win win situation for the site,if he joins they'll sell even more,if he doesnt,then they have sold a load of shirts that might otherwise not have sold....bad news for the punters who buy it though:p

Yeah but it's still pretty stupid to get Berbatov on a shirt at all at this stage. It would look stupid without a number and there isn't even a guarantee that he's coming to United. To get his name with a #14 below it is sheer stupidity imo.

I will be very surprised if Saha doesn't leave in this transfer window. Sir Alex probably doesn't mind taking his time with the deal as it gives United some time to offload Saha and present Berbatov with the number 9.
