Yes I'm writing from an iPhone and the novelty is already wearing off.

The keyboard is a little tricky. I'm getting there though. Fingers r cramping. Not worth buying.

Well, I'm using my iPod touch here to reply, and I like it.

Its so handy, the world at your fingertips...

...about the keyboard, I admit its fairly small, but the auto-correction feature is great.

Yeah it's not that bad but at the same times it's not worth a large sum of money. I'm back typing on my computer now and much happier. :)

Anyhow it's very novel and fun but the one thing that really did turn me off, I was thinking off buying one, was the lack of mms.


I wanted to upload a photo, I'd taken with the iPhone of the Sydney store so I went to imageshack.us to host the pic.

Long story short the upload button was grayed out. I logged in but that didn't help. Eventually I figured out the iPhone makes it quite

difficult to upload images or send them to other phones.


You can't use gmail, hotmail or anyinternet mail service to attach pics because there's no attach option.

You have to open up the default mail application. Then you have to set up all the account setting, i.e. smtp server, pop or imap, blah blah...

Then you can send pics only via e-mail not to other phones. Plus no video so I decided I'll get a cheaper phone instead, maybe a razr.

well, I got mine purely for music, internet and iphysics of course;)

the camera is pretty good, Capt...my sis has a first generation one and had it for a while...the only downside i have found from it is the keyboard on the screen...if you can get use to it, chances are you will love the iPhone...also, check whether or not the 3G network is in your area, it makes the browsing much quicker

of course you can use a computer but a computer is a lot harder to carry around then a fone isnt it ?

you easily get used to the typing, i'm hitting new records of speed every day, Haha.

8 GB means you can pack tons of music, pictures and even full length movies onto your iPhone too.

In short, Its a desktop computer in your pocket

I've got most of that crap on my N95 and don't use any of it.

I make calls and recieve calls and that's it.

Why have a built in ipod? Just buy an ipod ffs :confused:

It's 100% worth it, takes 2 - 5 minutes to do it and the results are awesome! ;)

Its "hacking" it so that you can install 3rd party applicatsions to it.

In otherwords it lets you install games, features, browsers and things that didn't come with the iPod....
