Shaking hands!

Time for another peach of a thread and a stupid questions by your truely. Feel free to make the jokes!

What is the appropiate type of handshake for shaking hands with a woman in a professional situation. I'm the kind of guy who likes to crunch another blokes hand in a handshake but i'm never really sure what to do with the girls! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Do i go for a firm handshake or a cruncher? How firm are we talking!?

Be gentle, don't grab her whole hand, just her fingers ;)

U dont shake the whole hand just the top near the fingers, and gently :)

Had a bloke crush my hand once, it hurt and i so wanted to kick him :D

I think it depends on why the shake is being and how she presents herself. If it's for courtship, then go with the fingertips as mentioned.

If it's for a job interview, let her make the gesture. Someone told me once if its palm side go for a normal "guy" shake but just hold it instead of grip/shake, if it's palm down, use the fingertip shake.
