When you go to any match in a stadium, be it your local ground, or Old Trafford or
Wembley whatever it may be, what do you find yourself having to eat/drink at the
start, half time and at the end?

Prices too high? Bring your own food? Survive a whole 2 hours with no food?

In Old Trafford, I normally have a pie...(lol...different, eh?)..and a drink or some sort.

In Ireland, people who usually go to G.A.A. games, are known for brining
their "hang-sandwiches and cuppa tay" (Ham sandwich and cup of tea in a flask
all packed away in a carry bag) :p

So what do you tuck into at games?

Eat when Im hungry and drink all the time.
Beer it up before, during and after a game, although at OT its ****y Buttwiper
beer.......and the pie's are ****ing horrific. I wont be making that mistake again.

Old Trafford:

I will usually get Harry Ramsden's chips followed by a few cans of Budweiser on Chester Road. :D or a couple of pints in Bishop Blaize if I'm there early enough/feel like treating myself ;)

Away day:

I'll just go for the first thing I see. If theres a McDonald's close by then I'll go there, grab a quick bite then off to the pub with the rest of the lads. Depending on the prices inside the ground I might get something if I'm really hungry

Wembley:

Can't go wrong with a McDonald's and then off to The Torch pub for a pre-match drink and sing. I refuse to buy anything inside the ground! The prices are ridiculous

I was so amazed I just had to take a picture  :o

Excellent question Keano.

Jazz - you're spot on there mate. Exactly the same for me. Stadium food is <insert swear word rhyming with hit!>

If you're going to OT, my advice is to beer it up, as Jazz says, and then get a burger from the mobile burger stall across from the Trafford pub. I love that guy. I always get a cheese burger and it's BBQ tasty! Brown and red sauce available plus choice of onions. No prizes for guessing what my lunch at Ole's testimonial will be tomorrow!!!

I remember getting a packet of crisps at OT and the manager hitting the staff member on the head after telling me that the salt & vinegar kettle chips were rubbish!!! That should tell you all you need to know!

Bring your own food or buy it outside the stadiium!

Are us Americans the only ones who like Budweiser? I personally will never EVER, drink that Judas-Scum sellout garbage again...unless its free.

No, one of my ex-girlfriends liked Budweiser...

...but she also supported Leeds United :p

Nah, tbh mate I always have a couple of bottles of Bud when I go to OT.

The thing that annoys me is when I'm at OT and Americans are behind me in the queue and they say 'Oh look, they even have Budweiser here.'

First of all, this is England. We drink more beer than anywhere else in the World so we know about ALL beer!!! Plus, Budweiser is one of the main sponsors of Man United so of course they sell it at the stadium!!!!!!!!!!

My point was: I almost always hear English people bash "the Great 'American Lager'" I personally just hope they go out of business since they've sold out. And please don't lump America or Americans in with the Yorkies :D

So drink Molson Canadian. There's really no such thing as an American beer now anyway, Budweiser's factories = Belgian, Miller's factories = South Africa.
