Im usually more of a Pro Evo person than Fifa, but konami really pee'd me off with PES 2008 on the PS3.

It was complete bull really.

I'd normally buy it on release but i don't trust konami now, im actually thinking of waiting to see what Fifa's like before buying this!

yeah fifa have real EPL .real FA , real carling . real rules , better graphics , more players ,more teams , good rating for youngster (compare between anderson/nani/pato of pes and anderson/nani/pato of fifa) manager mood > master league , better ref , more real gameplay , championship , coca 1 , coca 2, 2nd division for most of big leagues , real kits , real team names , more moods (be a pro , zone play) , better online ,

I have a ps2 and it does suck, but i played it on my friend's 360 and it was amazing, but don't buy fifa 2008 for ps3, fifa 2009 will probably be out in a month or so.

i played be a pro on ps2 its good th forst two games but then the players get tired and you can never rest him

Well they usually come out in the States in early September. I think it also differs for Current and Next generation consoles too.

i personaly perfure pro evo cause the multiplayer WAS fantastic but as people have said its gotten weaker over the past few games i hope the new one goes back to the game play of pes6 that was almost perfect but im quickly loosing hope

Who are the two licensed Premiership team's this time round? It was Spurs and Newcastle last year! The year before was Arsenal and Chelsea, you'd think they'd try for the two most popular teams - Man Utd + Liverpool.

Anyway i will probably rent this or go halves with my brother who also has a 360 doesn't look too shabby, i enjoy the game play of Pro Evo to play with mates but Fifa is better IMHO.

PES has allways been the bets footy game, but last year konami did really pee me off last year with PES 2008..So last year it was fifa for me.
This year ill be back with PES as it looks asif KONAMI have really stepped it up by gettin the Champions League Licence!!!
Ill still buy FIFA because the Be-A-Pro Career Mode (4 seasons) looks good and i like the Be-A-Pro online. 11 v 11 now not 5v5!! :)

That is a video of PES 2009 when it was only about 50% completed. Take a look at this video of the game at 85 % completed, it is much better than the earlier videos of PES 2009 but is still not perfect. I hope they can make the way the players move a bit smoother and less rigid before the game is released. I have always been loyal to PES from the beggining but I am not sure this year, from what I have seen so far there isn't really enough of an improvement to warrant a 39.99 asking price.

I'm not sure whether or not to get Pro Evo this year.

I've preferred Pro Evo over the last couple of years, because I've had a PS2 and Pro Evo is better than Fifa on the PS2.

However, I've now got a 360, and Pro Evo on the 360 is absolute rubbish imho. It doesn't look like its improved much this year, and looks extremely poor compared to Fifa 09.

If there is a Pro Evo download on the 360, I'll download it to see how it goes.

But I'm not optimistic about Pro Evo 09 in all honesty.
