Ferguson has said that he's going to rotate the squad throughout the season, so both Carrick and Hargreaves will play together during the season.
I don't know what you're refering to saying will Carrick be the next Fletcher?

Scholes will retire soon and Carrick will be with Owen (somthing like Scholes and Keane I hope - ohh...good times)

Imo it'll depend on who were playing to see who'll get into the team.
If its going to be a game where we'll probably get alot of time on the ball, Carrick will start. But if its going to get crowded etc in the midfield area, i think hargreaves will start to break up the oppositions attack by getting the tackles etc in.

If Carrick keeps on preforming then yes he will. Carrick, remember we paid 16 million for him! I doubt he will end up like fletcher. Fergie will rotate the squad - also it will depend on the game who may be more suited to play against that particular opposition, what tactics/strategies United are using!

Fletcher will be sold since he's a fringe average player only..Man Utd bought Anderson and Nani to replace the old maestros of Scholes and Giggs. Hargreaves and Carrick will be the SAF first choice pairing in the near future.
But it was pity they sold Richardson early as he is still young and can play left back/left winger. Some more he's England international.
My dream team is:
Strikers: Tevez, Rooney - Subs Rossi, Smith
Midfields: Owen, Carrick, Ronaldo, Nani - Subs: Giggs, Scholes, Park, Eagles
Defenders: Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Neville - Subs Brown, Heinze, Pique, Evans, Bardsley
Sold: Saha, Solskjaer, Fletcher
Buy: Sneijder, Rodrigo Sebastián Palacio, Rodrigo Pereira Possebom, Fabio Quagliarella, Kompany, Lahm, Castillo
What you think???

Cant see us buying Sneijder, Quagliarella, Kompany & Lahm tbh but you never know!
Also, i think we should keep Solskjaer, he'll probably retire within the next year or so anyway.
I also think Fletcher will be a good asset to us in the future, i hope we keep him and he plays alot (which will be hard for him though, since the competition he's got)
I like the team you have said - Lets just hope we get Tevez!!

Who is he? lol
Some Boca Juniors striker - I have seen him play a few times! I wonder how he would do in the Prem. Barcelona nearly had a deal for him but I think it collapsed and the whole Arsenal link was a hoax!

Carrick is the next Scholes to be perfectly honest.
Brilliant Passing, Shooting is looking good.
Admittedly he's not quite the playmaking ledgend that Scholes is, but i'd rate him still a good playmaker.
He makes up for this because he can actually tackle =]

wo wo wo, i disagree with all this Scholes cant tackle rubbish lol.
If u look at the stats, he's got a better tackling record than lots of players - im pretty sure Hargreaves was 1 of those

Aye if seen that, its on Sky Sports, and did you know John O'Shea never missed a shot last season? Something like 5 Shots, 4 Goals and One save. Such an underrated player.
Besides Hargreaves was in a wheelchair for most of last season.
Scholes can tackle, its just he's not so squeeky clean at it :P

Fletcher is not a decent player. At very best, he is an average player. Not first team material. Fletcher will be sold in the very near future. As for Carrick and Hargreaves?!? Much like a comment made earlier in the thread, I hope and pray its gonna be like the Scholes and Keane days again, in the long term anyway. For now, all three, Scholes Carrick and Hargreaves all have a lot to give the team. And lets bear in mind that we could suffer injuries!

I think you got that wrong, just because he is injured alot doesn't mean he is ****!
If you look back at our record against Liverpool defenders always score for us.

Silvestre

Ferdinand
