With all the signings to our midfield this summer and the general excitement about Tevez, have we all failed to notice the emergence of Chris Eagles? Now admittedly I have only seen snippets of whats being going on over in Asia but he looks to have a nice touch, two good feet and a definite eye for goal. Am not suggesting that he'll be startung through the middle or anything next season but he's definitely staking a strong place to be one of the subs for the early games with Scholesy injured.

What do people think of him, how do ye all rate him??

Iv been a fan of this boy for a long time, i think with alot of practice he could maybe become a first team player some day.

At the moment, he's the back up for Ronaldo.

Future England right midfield. No doubt about that. He is top class, look at Keiran Richardson for the complete opposite. Left, **** Hair, **** Touch, **** Shot, **** Control. Glad we shipped that waste of flesh off to Sunderland.

Last summer I thought that if he hadn't broken into the first team by the end of the season he would leave. He left it late but scoring on his debut against Everton was a good start.

He initially endeared himself to me when he scored a cracking goal against Liverpool reserves earlier in the season and I'm glad to see that he's still being given his chance to prove himself at the club.

I'm not sure whether he should go on loan this season because his 1st team appearances will be very limited but he's a lad with good potential so we should definitely hang onto him.

Wobbley legs does look decent but so did Richardson for a while.

Good 1st touch, which I noticed against Chelsea last season. Frail in stature, but Im sure Fergie will get him beefed up.

Defo rate him ahead of Fletcher.... & O Shea when selected for Midfield that is.

Eagles will be better than Fletcher on the right but Fletch has never looked comfortable there.

Both Fletcher and O'Shea are decent central midfielders and with the options we have at the club I hope to never see Fletcher on the right or in defence again!

Fletcher is just the try hard but fail kind of guy. Never impressed, but hey, hes comfortable being called up for 5 games a season and he does his job, to a degree, well.

You cant compare Fletcher and Eagles, two completely different players with completely different games.
