I have this to say -

Maybe some times when people make these remarks they
dont mean to be nasty and spiteful.......maybe for them this
is a funny remark or whatever.

I can tell you straight it is NOT funny and is never a bit
of fun either - not for the victim !!!!

On here someone tell me I am a gyppo and a Romanian
immigrant !!! I know now they make fun and they just
try to be funny so it is all OK now. But when I read this
it hurts very much you know.

Sometimes in my life I get remarks people make about
how Romanians cant be in this country and we should all
go home to our own country.

Silly stupid comments and they dont think anything about
this......but for us the victims you dont know how much it
hurts for things to be said like this !!!

I have known poverty the likes of which none of you will
ever see.... never mind suffer !!! Have you ever been
hungry and have no money for anything ? No because your
government is a rich government and they give you
money if you do nothing - if you dont work you are OK.

In my country if you dont work you starve - simple !!

..........and there is no work !!!

We dont want or need pity........we just need a chance to
help ourselves and to be left in peace and we will help
ourself out of the problems.

...............So we come to UK and many place in Europe to find
work to get money - and we send money home to family
to make life nice for them too. We dont want anything
we dont earn you know.....and we pay taxes and council
tax like everyone else. Usually people from Romania and
Poland get the sh*t jobs too - and they are paid less
for doing it because they know we are desperate people !

I work hard and study too - now I get degree (ACCA) and
I can have nice job now. So I am lucky girl, very lucky.

99.99% of us dont WANT to be here =- we are not here
to take anything from the UK - we are here because we need
to live - we are desperate !!

You may notice Polish and Romanians always stay seperate
from everyone else....they mix among themselves always...
This is because of the racist abuse we get and the nasty
comments people make.

We just want to work hard and make some money to feed
our families back home this is all. So next time you see a
Polish person or someone from Romania dont be nasty and
cruel to them - go and say hi.....they are lovely people and will
give you their last penny if you need this more than them.

They will be best friend you ever have too - very loyal no matter
what !!!!

Anyway I say my piece for this now - I hope people make some
effort to cut out racism and to get along together.....we are all
human beings at the end of the day.....we are not all that
different from one another !!!!

..........and racism in sport needs to be stopped too.....it make UK
look very, very bad to the rest of the world !!!

Well said Carly...and i agree with it completely. There are some Polish lads that work for the company i do and they are great lads to get on with. They come and play footy with us on a Thursday night etc...we dont see them any differently, they are just one of the lads to us.

........yes and I dont know them but I can be sure they work very hard and never complain about anything !! I am glad to hear you and your friends are good to the guys - this make life much easier for them you know - so thankyou for doing this......maybe one day everyone get along like this - I hope so ....!!

Polish and Romanian worker try very hard because if the job go they have no money for family back home - so losing this job is not an option really !!

The thing is it happens Rangers had racist abuse when they went to play in east Europe against a Serbian team and against a Montenegro teams this season. But it will keep happening its just thats its reported more in English football take when England played spain that was just awful.

Im sure that there is a very SMALL MINORITY of these migrants that have come here just to get free benefits, free house, free healthcare etc, and these are the people that the media pick up on, and put in the paper every other day!! They dont tell us about the vast majority that come here, work really hard, and pay their taxes like you and I. We never hear about the MAJORITY!! Only ever the minority! This is wrong!!!

I am not politically correct and never will be politically correct, I find it offensive to my rights as a human being BUT It also means I call it like I see it at the time.

I have no racial hatred in my blood but if a foreigner who is not entitled to be in my country steps out of line and gets caught for anything illegal he should serve time and be deported without leave of appeal. EG: sometimes you will see posts from me slagging this person or that person off.

I frequently use terminology that is frowned upon in these left wing pc circles - and I couldn't give a toss. This is my country and I want it to stay that way.

However, I also couldn't give a damn if Carly is Romanian, Czech, Islamic, Green with pink spots, Gypsy, Martian or Venusian - she is a person in her own right and anybody using racial remarks against her or any other legitimate member will not have a membership for long, including an IP ban. As stated in a different thread, the Romany (true gypsy) is a race unto itself and, by all accounts, highly social and respectable.

Walk through the city centre of any major city and listen. Listen to the languages being spoken. In Birmingham, it is quite strange to hear someone speaking english!!

I cant really comment on Serbian people, Montenegro or FYR Macedonia etc etc....I
just would like people to give the people from Poland and Romania some fair
treatment you know ....... I have many friend from Poland here in UK and many,

I know things are pretty bad in Serbia.

I get annoyed when some people say this about Serbia - then say this is how
Eastern Europe is !!!

Eastern Europe is a very huge place and things are different from place to place.

In my country we cant be racist, lol......I see black man on TV sometimes - but we
dont have any black people in Romania - not my area anyway. So when I come
to UK I see real black man and this was very weird for me, lol......very strange but
now we are ok with this we see many black people now. :)

With all respect, please read my post properly. Not once did I make reference to illegal immigration, which is an entirely different debate in its own right!!! I was talking about migration, which is, again, its own subject. I was talking about people migrating from one European nation to another, which, at eh present time, is perfectly legal. And my point was towards these people, that it really is a small minority that are only here to sponge off our benefits system!! most, like the polish etc etc are here to work, and they work bloody hard!! the issues you raise, are more to do with asylum, which, once again is something completely different!! I have, and still do, spend an awful lot of time in some of the biggest towns and cities in the country, and do know only too well the issues surrounding this debate!! Im sure that if you read my last post again, you would see that you have grossly misunderstood my comments.

Anf on another point. i agree with you entirely about deporting anyone who steps out of line, exept I would go further and say even the people who have migrated here perfectly legally, if they break the law, in my eyes they have forfeited any right they had to remain here and so should be deported!!!! With no appeal and no chance of ever coming back!!! But that is just my oppinion!

I too, am far from PC, infact I am often found complaining about our PC culture!!! But if we dont like these people being here, we should kick them out, make it in law that we have teh power, and then abide by that law!!

In my oppinion, this is how it should work:

Anyone found illegally in OUR country, or attempting to gain entry illegally, should be deported, no questions!! No appeals!! No costly human rights act court appearances!!

Anyone who has been granted leave to stay in our country, and goes on to commit a crime should be deported, no questions, not appeals. Just out!!

And, in my personal oppinion, untill we get the problem of imigration sorted, we should close our borders entirely (except tourism) and this should include EU member states!! No new people should be allowed in the country untill all those that are here illegally have been found and removed!!! However, I still stick to my earlier comment that most LEGAL EU migrants are very very hard working!!

And to go back slightly to a point that Carly made about EU migrants getting pad less money because they are desperate??? Im sorry, I have no sympathy for this!! I know people who have struggled to get a job in certain area because these people are working for less than National minimum wage!! Have they never thought that if they just refused to work for so little, that the enployers would stikll need staff, but the playing field would be far more even!! And they would still get work, just they would be better paid!!!! No one to blame for this other than themselves!!

You must understand though many of these people turn up here in UK with NOTHING but hope and the clothes they stand up in !!! First offer of work that is coming their way they take it !!! I blame the employers who break the law and pay this money.

When they get here many Romanians and Polish live together and share rent and bills between them so they spend very little money on themselves and will able to send more home.

Many of them never hear about minimum wage - in our country there is no such thing !!! You work and get paid whatever you agree for money......

This is a touchy topic. For me its simple, all racism is wrong and the xenophobes on the terraces should get punished hard. But since we got Blatter in FIFA who seems to be more into money rather then deal with this controversal issues as doping and abuses on pitch and on/from the the terraces.

We fans have to contribute with what we can. First of all we should stop pointing out someone else as worse then where we live or at our club. Racism is everywhere and its always bad.

Btw, UEFA with Lennart Johansson and now Platini havent shown much to deal with the racism either.

I wish those who make this racist comments to me, my friends and to sports men
and women or to anybody anywhere etc etc could receive treatment like
this......then they would know how this feel !!!

It's especially bad when foreign people make big effort to fit in and become a part
of a community and then people do these racist things.

It's not a very huge problem - myself I have only encountered maybe 2 or 3
people in my time in UK.........this sounds maybe nothing but once is too many !!!

Also - if these good footballers get abuse like this - mthey will not want to come
to play here any more !!! Right now UK has best league in this world - The Prem
League - they need it to be 'perfect' and then maybe World Cup come here for
you.......this will be nice but if racism is happen then no World Cup !!!
