Nemanja Vidic is hoping to help Manchester United in attack as well as defence by chipping in with lots of goals this season.
United have managed to find the net just twice in their opening four Premier League games but Vidic is confident he can take some of the pressure off the strikers.
The Serbian proved a useful option from set-pieces last term as he scored four headed goals and he is eager to reproduce that sort of form.
"I plan to score lots of goals this year," he said.
"It doesn't matter how I get them; off my head, my feet and even my stomach. I don't mind as long as the ball goes in.
"I simply want to keep finding the goal and help the team to win more matches."
United's poor start to the season has coincided with injury to Wayne Rooney and suspension to Cristiano Ronaldo, but Vidic insists there is plenty of strength in the squad
