Hello to everyone at ManUtd talk!
So I decided to join here and discuss about Man Utd, the team in which i've loved till the end of the universe and beyond since '93. I still remember that day - Five years old and my dad took me to my first Football match at Stamford Bridge where I watched United vs. Chelsea and ever since then, i've been a devoted United fan.
Since then, i've been in Canada were the coverage for Football here sucks! :mad: But nevertheless, I am subscribed to MUTV and find ways to watch almost every United game possible, even pre-season friendlies. My room is filled with many United posters and accessories. United wall clock, United posters, United bed sheet. But most of all, the most prized possession I have from United is the 1999 jersey that was signed by Sheringham, Beckham, Schmeichel, Butt, Solskjaer, Cole and Stam during the 1999 Champions League final.
But one thing that does in a way trouble me and a tad bit shame me is that my two favorite players are different, yet similar also. My first favorite is David Beckham, who played for United is a legend. When he left United, it was absolutely heartbreaking and painful to see him wear that Real Madrid jersey. My second favorite player... has never played for United and I don't think he ever will...:( It is Rafael van der Vaart and on the day he joins United, it'll become a dream come true for me.
Sorry if my intro has been quite the lengthy one, but I am one who likes to go into detail and give my audience the taste of what I say. My name is Alexander, but i'm nicknamed 'Maverick' by most of my friends and even 'Matrix' by others due to my complicated mind (Materazzi much? o_O). But you can call me Alex, Alexander, Maverick, whatever you want. Just don't make it offensive or downgrading. I'm usually an easy going guy and love to play around and joke. I'm nice in general and have a warm personality. I do have a slightly bad temper and sometimes come off as a little ****y... but I keep it in check and never try to say anything that will hurt other people in a way. I do attack people that attack me though. Who doesn't? Lol
I'm hoping to get to know all of you and become good friends with some and hopefully you will all accept me in! :D
