Manchester United ace Gabriel Heinze continued his comeback from injury by playing for the reserves on Tuesday night. The Argentine international came through 82 minutes of the 3-2 win over Oldham. It was the second run-out for Heinze after he featured for the reserves last weekend.
Heinze is determined to get back playing regularly so he can prove his fitness to Argentina coach Jose Pekerman ahead of the World Cup. The full back was forced to come off with a slight groin strain, but United coach Rene Meulensteen insists the injury is not serious. "Gabi felt a little twinge in his groin so we brought him off as a precaution," said Meulensteen. "We will look at it in the morning but I think he will be fine". Sky Sports News
