Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic admits he will be a better player next season.

The Serbian stopper arrived at Old Trafford in January and took a few months to adapt to life, but he is now living up to his £7 million price tag.

Vidic feels that he will be at his best next term.

"I am happy now and getting better with every game," he told MUTV.

"It was not easy for me in those first matches. I did not feel good. It was a new country and a new club and the first two months were very difficult for me.

"I am working hard and I will be a better player next season.

"I have a good relationship with the other guys - they have all help me.

"I am just trying to stay in the side and show that I have some qualities.

"The league is quick and physical and you have to adapt but this is a good chance for me in England."

he has been very good so far, he will only improve. He has shown great strength in him and I think he is going to excel even further with United

He was a good signing and I think in the long term his £7million price tag will turn out to be a bargain. He is a very similar defender to Wes Brown, takes no nonsense, gets stuck in and is overrall a good football and accomplished defender. He also is a leader on the pitch. Being a good signing for us and I hope he continues to get better.
