Is that definite. Thought Archie Knox might get the nod.

Some people win some vCash from this too on here so well done. Yes you did, and I predicted it as soon as he got the job. No Liverpool player has ever been a success at management, the trend continues.

i too predicted a quick sacking for lee,
how much of a nob does the chairmen gartside look now after predicting lee would do a better job than big sam, he also declared the top players at bolton only signed for them coz they knew of sammy lee and wanted to play under him, LMAO he lost the dressing room after about 10 games

Yes maybe ignore this fact.
Sometimes maybe 1 coach comes along who does make a nice job - but rare for this to happen !!

Paul Jewell to replace him?

birmingham have been aproached for the services of steve bruce. but they have knocked all advances back, which in my eyes is pretty sad considering as soon as the new owners at brum will give bruce the elbow str8 away when they come in, then he might struggle to find another job in the prem

Paul Jewell would be a great manager for them but Im hoping he or Jose ;-) will manage Ireland. Ive heard Souness is on the shortlist. ffs If he becomes their manager they will go straight down the pan.

Now Leicester have rebuffed an approach for Gary Megson.
Bolton don't seem to be aiming very high do they?
When you consider that Big Sam was a candidate for the England job perhaps they should set their sights a little higher...especially if they want to hold on to Anelka.

So it looks like Gary Megson got the job. He jumped ship at Leicester to be back in the Premiership. For me he isnt the right man for the job. I think he will be a mistake but time will tell. They should still be good enough not to go down though.
