And then asking for an appeal.......tut tut tut !!!

LONDON: Chelsea has accepted a charge of failing to control its players during a
Premier League match against Manchester United.

Chelsea was charged on Sept. 27 by England's Football Association after several
players surrounded the referee when he showed a red card to John Obi Mikel
during a 2-0 loss to Manchester United.

Chelsea assistant coach Steve Clarke was also charged by the FA with using
abusive and/or insulting words toward match officials after the end of the Sept.
23 match at Old Trafford.

The club and Clarke requested personal hearings after admitting to the charges
on Wednesday. They have yet to be scheduled

It is a first. I thing a lifetime ban for all their players should suffice.

Chelsea get fined 30,000 pounds for failing to control their players. Its pennies for Chelski. Just ridiculous in all fairness. It means they can just keep harassing refs with little or no consequence. pfffft

Yeah, I think Roman's laughing right now. He's probably like, "I've stolen more than that in 10 seconds, surely you can do better!"
