Should we go for Senna now Viera has joined Inter?

makoun,bodmer,muntari,appiah,haestad,gnegneri tourè(the affordable ones)
mascherano, diarra(the out of uor budget midfielders)

Why wasnt there any interest in getting Thomas Gravesen from Real Madrid back as an alternative instead... He's proven in Premiership Football so shldnt have much problem settling in, plus he would be much cheaper, prob 2M will be enuff to land him.. :D

There should be some interest, but he's extremely slow as far as I recall, and he's also about 30, 31? We did try to get him before he went to Real though.

Sir Alex has/did express his interest in Senna, he is 29/30, can't remember exactly.

He is great player, infact, you have to be to get in the centre of the Spain midfield.

I think someone on the BBC 606 boards said it best: "The trouble with Senna is that he's not a bad player - he's just not great." I completely agree - he was nothing great in the WC in my opinion.

Senna is a defensive midfielder as he does a great job as a defensive midfielder, in my view.

Watching the match with porto senna would be the perfect ploy behind scholes+carrick it will allow them to dictate play without worrying about defending to much also we desperatley need another striker rooney saha apart we haven't got much quality going forward.
