I was just wondering would you like him managing united when fergie retires ?
You can't doubt his talent and tactical ability.
The man is awesome.
I think the premiership will without question miss his humour and the huge
amount of entertainment he brings.
His achievements in the game are fantastic and winning the champions league
with porto was nothing short of amazing especially on a shoestring budget !
I think he would be brilliant for united and he loves ronaldo so thats a good
start !
Bobby charlton recently said that he is against ANY ex-player coming to manage
United so if Jose is available when Fergie finally goes he would fit the bill.

I don't think he would be accepted by united fans after being at chelsea, i would much rather get keane or hughes if they have shown enough to get the job by the time fergie retires.

I would rather Keane over Mourinho and Hughes..
Mourinho..as ryder pointed out..would not be accepted too kindly with the United fans and I don't think his style of football would be suitable for us..
Remember the reason he was sacked at Stamford Bridge was because his team weren't playin attacking...beautiful football......and that was with about 15 world class players and after spending hundreds of millions...
Mourinho will not manage Manchester United imho...
Hughes is a good manager and has done wonders at Blackburn but I also think his style of managing is very physically inclined and marking and tactics...I may be wrong but I'm not sure if he has the knowledge to get his team to play attacking football and interchanging wingers etc.etc.
I may be wrong about Hughes but that's my opinion from what I've seen so far...

One of the best managers in the game, I dont think that he will be back in England for a long time yet, not in the next 5-7years at least, Jose is the kind of guy thats whats to win everything in the top leagues in Europe, He did it in Portugal and England and i can see him in Spain next and no reason why he wont win everything there.
But i cant see him being United manager, He will love to manage a club like United who wouldnt, But i see him thinking that it would disrespect all the Chelsea fans if he came to us.
Personally i hope he gets the Irish job, wishfull thinking but hey stranger things have happened! :) :)

mourinho? oh please..
mourinho plays **** football..at chelsea, they were so boring to watch..yes, he brought results by winning matches, but their football aren't attractive enough..sure you wouldnt want man utd to turn into them, would you? if he takes charge at man utd, then our tradition of attractive football started by Sir Matt will be gone....

whether he'll be accepted by the fans i dunno, but i'd like to see him at united. his rule; get the results no matter how we play. so even if we play bore games, we still get the results. and at this point of time, i'd like to win more premiership and camps league cups so that we can shut out the scousers thieves for good..

There is no rules on how to play in order to win. But I would HATE that. With the players we have...it will always be attacking and exciting football. And to be honest, that's an aspect to as why we all love the game...the magic of it, the moves, the goals, the excitement. Playing boring and Manchester United will never go in the same sentence!

Many people say Keane and Hughes but they miss the point Sir Bobby says he is
not too keen on an ex-player to be next manager !!
.......I think if Sir Bobby talks then people listen too.
So I was asking this on the theory Keane and Hughes are out of the equation !

Sir bobby has no real power at united he is just a face, if he says a ex-player shouldn't be a manager the board will not take that into account and will jut choose who they think is the best man for the job.

I'd like him to be assistant to SAF first then takeover in years to come! I think he would be an excellent manager for us, but SAF still has years left in him if you ask me! :)

I would like to see Jose in Manchester, because he has everything, that is needed for this job and he gets on well with "his" players. He would be much better in United than formal United players (Keane, Hudges). I hope we will Jose when SAF says goodbye to this great club.

i'd rather have hughes i think the job he's done at blackburn is amazing we play them next week, all the other top 4 have played them and they are yet to be beaten

I am a realist, alot of people seem to not really think in a realistic way.
