I noticed on MOTD Ronaldo's body Language seemed a little ''Off'' during the celebration of the goals.............

................he seemed less than enthusiastic.

Or was it just my imagination ?

He seemed fairly sad as he wasn't the centre of attention, and neither did he score of course, and he was playing much deeper....whats wrong with him ?

thats funny cause i also noticed this last saturday. especially when tevez scored his second. in the build up rooney was down the middle with tevez and ronaldo on either side.it looked like the easier ball was to ronaldo but he played tevez in and when tevez netted ronaldo picked up the ball and punched it into the air and looked unimpressed

My post count clearly reflects the quality of the threads started, you’ve started 400 threads in less than 5 months. You have come in here like some sort of fuehrer thinking that you own the place, I'm sure there’s some of your 400 threads that are actually decent but the majority is absolute ********. When have die hard football fans got psycho analytical over player’s behaviors during a match. I don't see it tbh Carly. If Ronaldo looked disappointed against Middlesborough then I'm glad because he missed a couple of great chances to score. I don't think he's bothered about Rooney and Tevez getting the limelight - if anything it should encourage him to play better to steal it back!

Let me tell - anyone that are having a go at Carly. That Guus Hiddink - one of his secrets of getting the best out of players is the use of Psychology. Hiddink was a child psychologist before going into football management, this has helped him understand players better and get the best out of them and keep spirits high!
Whatever is wrong with one player can affect a whole teams preformance - the use of psychology can play an important role in the prevention of that as a manager! So no, its not all about just kicking a ball and trying to win!

This "Oh he's having a bad run" theory is nonsense !!!

Rooney had a bad spell last year and he can score no goals......

But WOWWW that boy tried so hard !!!

He would chase the ball like a crazy dog - he would finish a match exhausted -
even when he was played out of position and was unhappy with it (as we all
know he was) - still he ran his heart out and the effort was there.

So yes Solsk........not many of us did pick on Rooney because we had no right too
- if they do their best we can ask no more of them !!

Ronaldo 2 or 3 times yesterday had attempts to make a run - lost the ball and
he stands there like it didn't matter.

One time Evra made a brilliant run on the left and managed to muscle into the box
and put in a lovely cross - Ronaldo then noticed - eventually - and tried to sprint
onto it.

The 'real' Ronnie would have been there waiting for it !!

I could go on with many examples like this from yesterday but I have made my

He isn't playing as well as last year but i think your making far to much out of this, you are also downplaying the speed and skill of the arsenal back line who concentrated more on keeping ronaldo out of the game than any other united player.
It is obvious ronaldo will find it harder to start with this season as he was so good last year teams will mark him more and try to stop him playing, this is one reason why tevez and ronney are doing so well, people are worried about ronaldo so they are giving rooney and tevez more space.

I still think people are overreacting, if only heard people mention this on this forum, Ronaldo isn't playing like he was last year, but i do not think anything is wrong. You can't expect him to live up to the performances last season week in week out. THey were BRILLIANT.
