Champions Youth Cup 2007

I hope you guys still remember the Champions Youth Cup 2007 which was held couple months back in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia featuring United U-19s and other teams.

I was wondering if anyone is interested at the pics i took when i was at the tournament. Just so you know, the pics is not ALL Man Utd but i do have a few of them. It is mostly Flamengo, Milan & Juventus cuz these teams are the closest i could get to lol.

After few fans kept harassing the Juve squad, theteam manager told the security to tell us to get lost. So i went to the Milan section instead LOL.

After the game ended, my friend & i hang around for awhile. After that, we found out where the team bus is located so we ran towards there lol and found a group of people hoarding the Juve team so my friend & i went to the Milan bus lol. We were the only two at the Milan bus haha

The tournament's top scorer with 7 goals was Pierre Aubemeyang of AC Milan.
My friend & I asked for his autograph and glady obliged

The tournaments second top scorer with 5 goals was Kayke of Flamengo and my friend and I once again had him signed for us :P

Pierre is good. Very quick and skillful. But he seems a bit lightweighted so he always have tough time against bigger defenders

On 19-8-2007, there were the CYC 3rd &4th placing match featuring Flamengo vs Milan and the Finals feat Man Utd vs Juventus

I didnt took any during the Flamengo vs Milan
once again, Juve players came out to watch the match and to my suprise, Man Utd squad to came out to watch the game. Too bad they were on the other side :(

So the game ended with Flamengo winning 3-1 against Milan
So both squad went & took their prizes

Also while the match is being played, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan came to watch the game. Too bad, they were sitting on different sections and on higher tiers so i couldnt get close to them :S

I saw Jonathan Dos Santos of Barcelona (Giovanni's younger brother) and i yelled out his name and he wave back to me haha XD

So Man Utd won 1-0 against Juve with Brandy scoring a wonderful goal.

After all the celebrations, me and my friend went out the tunnel where the team buses are located. This time a lot of fans knows where tunnel was and was waiting to see if they have the chances to see the players. A security personnel was at the gate entrance. So when he was walking away, my friend & I quickly ran past him to enter the tunnel and so do other fans lol. After that, the gate was closed :devil::devil:

The closest player i could reach first was Kieran Lee, Utd's captain.
Spoke to him for awhile, asking if he enjoyed Malaysia. Also asked him of his chances playing couple games for the first team this season, he said very unlikely. He wa gracious enough to take couple of pics.

After that, i walked around asking other Man Utd players for their signatures. Gary Wood, Oliver Norwood, Scott Moffatt, Antonio Bryan and Richard Hartis the academy keeper coach signed too. I wanted to approach Ron Robert-Zieler but a bunch of females was constantly surrounding him :mad::mad:

A fan asked Oliver for his shirt but was told that the players cant give away their shirts :S, too bad.

Spoke with Coach Brian McClair, was a good man. Was scouting for Brandy but didnt see him around, weird :confused:

And i even managed to climbed up to the team bus, w00t
