Giggs Or Nani????????

We all know Ryan Giggs in one of the best players utd have ever had and is a true legend but this season he just has not impressed me, where this kid Nani looks better everytime i see him good pace, tricks,goals. For me it would be Nani but who would u guys rather in your team??

Yes Giggs was once one of the first to be picked for a game......

But time waits for no one !!

He is getting too old now.

I dont like to see players go too far and get mocked for the way they play.

Time for Giggs to slow down and fill the gaps when NANI cant play.

Thats the stupidest thing ever said. You do know that playing one minute in a game counts as an apperance right ? So if he was playing him for apperances only he could just bringhim on in the 9th minute.

Well said KF. I think Nani will get chances as the season progresses and Giggs' form has been a bit poor but for now Im sticking with Giggs. Nani has started to impress a bit more after slow start but Giggs is still the man and will get his form back soon.

nani is the future of untied and giggs is the present IMO, nani is still young and will be incosistent in games never mind a full season as we've already seen, giggs brings much more to the table than nani in terms of experience, leadership, flexability (he can play in 3 man midfield) hence the reason nani has not even had a sniff in the big games.

Giggs is slowly regaining his form this season. He looked assured on the ball against Arsenal and got into some great positions. He's not as quick as he used to be but his footballing brain, his calmness on the ball and his eye for a killer pass/cross means he should still be 1st choice.

Nani is still young and will be prone to inconsistency. If he played every game he would have ups and downs in his form. We know what we will get from Giggsy and I still thikn Nani needs more time to settle at the club and into the Premiership.

It's still Giggsy for me.

Nani is good ATM, but I think Fergie wants him to studying more from Giggs movement (fast dribble) & decisions making. Nani playing style is like Ron & if he combined his skill with Ryan-style movement he'll be far better than Ron IMO.

giggs is good then ok, sometimes non existent, nani's work rate is higher, but he is younger, giggs is the stand in general till scholes gets back though

One was 18 and had very little experience, the other is 20 and has been an international for a while and was already a first team regular. Plus he already played in the champions league. Not fair to compare the two of them.

Appearances only? That is truly an insane thought!

Nani has been brought in to replace Giggs when he retires! Giggs needs rested from time to time, so Nani will get his chances, he has done well so farand for now is a good squad player. But how any Man Utd fan can disrespect one of the clubs most famous and historic players of all time just blows my mind. Sir Alex Ferguson........now,he is the worlds best manager,do you think he would just stick a player on the pitch for an appearance,i don't think so,he could stick me on so i can get an appearance. He plays Giggs, vice captain by the way (another reason why he is valuable to the first team) because he has a fantastic footballing brain,his off the ball work is vital also,his range of passing his superb,and he still has fast feet and is a very cool finisher. Nani sure has the potential to fulfill his boots but i promise you now,Ryan Giggs he will NEVER be.

Rio Ferdinand not long said Giggs is underated,now why would he say that? He quoted saying he was maybe the best he has played with,he will never say that about Nani.

Like KF said,Giggsy was voted in the shortlist of only 6 players for PFA Player of the Year and voted in the Premiership Team of the Year. This was not all that long ago,he isnt going to go downhill in that short a time period,thats just stupidity. Im not sure who said it but they said Giggsy would play if there was a champions leagu game tommorow,thats a fantastic comment. If you had the choice,you would have Giggs everytime. If you asked all the Man Utd players privately who they would want left mid,more than not would want Giggs in the slot. Keane,Graham Taylor,Ferdinand,Sir Alex,Bruce,Pallister,Ince,Seedorf,Sir Bobby Charlton and Sven have all praised him quite recently. Seedorf said before the Milan tie last year,he described him as ''NEVER ENDING GIGGS'' he is still a potent threat to any defence in the world,he assisted 4 goals against AS Roma!

But anyway,thought id say my piece. He is Man Utd through and through, plays for his shirt, true professional,still walk into any premiership team! Rooney and Ronaldo can only take advice fomr the great man and benefit from it!

Tis a hard one. Giggsy has always been a great proffesional but he is not a huge threat goin forward any more. He doesn't really score any more and nani has most assists this season.

If we were playin Arsenal at OT tomorrow I'd personally prefer Nani's name on the team sheet. Havin said all that I still love Giggs.
