Cristiano Ronaldo insists that Manchester United are only more determined after
last season's Champions League disappointment, and believes that the attacking
force will deliver European Glory.
Manchester Untied have been in red hot form over the last two months, having
dropped points only in the draw to Arsenal last weekend.
What is more, they have scored a massive 22 goals in their last six games, and it
is this that Cristiano Ronaldo is looking towards to deliver the Champions League.
More Motivated
“United have the chance to win the Champions League every season," he told
The Sun.
“But this season is a really special opportunity for us.
"We got to the semi-finals last season and just came up short against AC Milan.
That was a real big disappointment for all of us.
“If anything, it makes us more determined to go on and do it again having come
so close. We certainly have the power to do it."
More Attacking
“Right now we have great attacking power up front," he continued. "Wayne
Rooney and Carlos Tevez have been linking up superbly.
“I’m on a great run myself as well and aim to carry that on and score many more
goals.
"The squad is so strong, so even when the boss made five changes from the
game at Arsenal we still scored four goals.
“To go through to the next stage of the Champions League after just four group
games and with 12 points is excellent.”
