Manchester United will seek official guidance over the situation in Italy ahead of
their away Champions League match against Roma.
Italian football is in chaos after the shooting of a fan by police led to riots across
the country at the weekend.
Domestic matches have been suspended as a result and United want to make
sure the safety of their fans can be guaranteed for their December 12 trip to
Rome.
A United spokesman told the Daily Mail: "We are aware of the situation in Italy
and will take advice from the Foreign Office, UEFA and the Italian authorities."
