Adebayor Fires Warning To United
STRIKER Emmanuel Adebayor has warned United that Arsenal have the strength
in depth to take the title race all the way this season.
Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes he has the strongest squad of his 21-year
reign at his disposal, but the young Gunners still have the edge in the Premier
Leage on goals scored.
After Arsenal's 3-1 win at Reading Adebayor said: "The most important thing was
to do a good job and win the game - but to be back at the top is great as well.
"It is very important going into the international break. It gives us a lot of
confidence.
"We wanted to stay ahead of Manchester (United) and show them we are strong
- and we have done that.
"Of course, it is a long title race - and it's where you are at the end of the season
that matters. But we are very happy with how things are going."
Adebayor added: ""We believe the squad is strong - you can see in the Carling
Cup and against Slavia Prague that all the young players can come in and do a
good job.
"That is important, because there are a lot of games coming up - and you need all
