Carvalho out for 8 weeks

The back injury he sustained against Everton is more serious than first thought and Carvalho could be out for up to 8 weeks.

He joins Petr Cech, John Terry and Paulo Ferreira on the sidelines, which means the Chelsea defence is starting look a lot weaker.

Unfortunately, Chelsea's next 3 league games include Derby and Sunderland so they won't face too many major tests...unless players are still missing on 16th December when they face Arsenal at the Emirates.

am actually hopin they get some back by arsenal, they could do with droppin points, it kinda is arsenals to loose if early predictions are worth anythin, 3 points off them at old trafford for sure though-other than that, what points are they gonna drop
