United midfielder salutes Spurs striker

Michael Carrick would welcome any Manchester United move for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgaria international claims he remains committed to the White Hart Lane outfit despite speculation over his future.
New Spurs coach Juande Ramos stated he would not stand in Berbatov's way if the striker made it clear he wanted to leave in the January transfer window.
And United midfielder Carrick, who left the north London club to move to Old Trafford, believes the talented forward would be an excellent addition to Sir Alex Ferguson's squad.
World-class
"You welcome any world-class player who is going to bring something different to the club," Carrick said.
"Berbatov is a very good player. I have watched him quite a bit because he plays for my old club.
"People are always going to link him with big clubs like United. As players here what you look for is a player coming in who can bring you something different and Berbatov certainly would."
Amazing
Even if a move for Berbatov fails to materialise, Carrick is confident that Ferguson has the talent at his disposal to challenge for honours at home and abroad.
"It is one of the strongest squads in Europe," he said.
"The cover we have in every position is amazing. We are certainly as good as anyone in that sense, if not better."
